Become an essential part of IEM's purchasing team as a Buyer in Surrey, B.C. This role focuses on cost-effective sourcing and procurement, requiring in-office presence.

IEM is seeking a Buyer to streamline its supply chain operations directly under the Purchasing Supervisor. With 1-3 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing setting, you’ll handle supplier relations, order placements, and delivery management. This role emphasizes strong organizational and communication skills, all while maintaining accurate procurement data and enhancing procedural efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage supplier network and handle cost analysis

• Place and monitor purchase orders for materials

• Notify management of potential delivery delays

• Track orders and expedite based on production needs

• Maintain accurate files for lead times and pricing

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field

• 1-3 years procurement experience in manufacturing

• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
