Summary
Provide maintenance and related trade support services to various buildings, leased and owned.
KeyDuties & Responsibilities
- Provides maintenance and related trade support services.
- Performs preventive maintenance and minor repairs to buildings such as HVAC, plumbing, fire and security, environmental and energy management, client comfort systems, and fabric repairs.
- Performs inspections and recommends required maintenance, repairs, and alterations for building fabric and systems.
- Schedules preventive and planned maintenance and maintains service reports.
- Provides input into Operations and Maintenance Budget, 5‑Year Plan, and Project Budget.
- Responds to emergencies such as fires, water leaks, and equipment malfunctions; exchanges information with clients regarding building concerns/needs.
- Reviews new equipment, tools, and maintenance plans.
- Orders goods and supplies as needed.
The successful candidate will be required to attain and maintain a valid and active RCMP Enhanced Security Clearance (ERSC). Applicants must have lived in Canada for a minimum of five years to apply for ERS.

- Position is not responsible for providing direct supervision.
- Provides escort, support, monitoring, and review of vendor‑performed work.
- May operate a company‑issued vehicle in alignment with CBRE/AFSI and/or any other applicable policies and procedures.
- Operates and maintains equipment and uses tools in alignment with CBRE/AFSI and/or any applicable policies.
- All applicable IT assets must be used in alignment with CBRE/AFSI and/or any other applicable policies and procedures.
- All financial decisions and purchases must be made in alignment with CBRE/AFSI and/or any other applicable policies and procedures.
- Ensures timely and accurate submission of reports and transactions related to authorized expenditures.
- 35 hour per week position.
- Rate of $37.08 per hour.
- Eligible for participation in Public Service Pension Plan, extended health and dental benefits after 6 months of service.
- This role is unionized under the BCGEU governed by a Collective Bargaining Agreement.
