Position: Maintenance Worker at Coast Mental Health
Enhance facility upkeep as a Maintenance Worker at Coast Mental Health in Surrey, BC. Engage in diverse maintenance tasks including cleaning, repairs, and groundskeeping on a full-time schedule.

Coast Mental Health is looking for a Maintenance Worker to support its Timber Grove Apartments. This temporary, full-time role requires performing various cleaning and repair tasks. Key responsibilities include managing maintenance requests, performing minor repairs, and maintaining exterior grounds. The position also involves an on-call rotation during evenings and weekends for emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct minor repairs on plumbing and electrical fixtures

• Clean and disinfect building interiors and exteriors

• Maintain grounds and remove refuse using appropriate tools

• Monitor and order maintenance supplies as needed

• Respond to emergencies and on-call requests

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education or equivalent experience

• Two years of maintenance-related work experience

• WHMIS Certificate and valid B.C Class 5 driver’s license

• First Aid Certification required

• Experience with small power tools and equipment
