Overview

Job opening for a cleaning company supervisory role requiring secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience, and 1‑2 years of related experience.

Suitable settings: cleaning service company, commercial facility, hospital/medical facility or clinic, school or educational institution, shopping centre or mall, restaurant.

• Hire and train or arrange training for cleaning staff
• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers
• Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
• Prepare budget and cost estimates
• Recommend or arrange additional services such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment
• Maintain financial records
• Receive payment for specialised cleaning jobs
• Assist cleaners in performing duties
• Coordinate work activities with other departments
