Reporting directly to management, the Maintenance Worker plays a crucial role in keeping the community running smoothly. Key skills include building repairs, fire and life safety checks, and working collaboratively with the team. Supportive of community programs, you will ensure that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently, meeting safety regulations and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect equipment condition and log maintenance status daily
• Complete general repairs for plumbing, electrical, and structure
• Assist in fire safety drills and compliance with regulations
• Maintain organized work and storage areas
• Participate in staff training and community support activities
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year experience in maintenance
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance software
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Clear communication skills in English
