Janitor Maintenance Worker at Lookout

This casual role includes diverse responsibilities essential for maintaining a welcoming environment. You will supervise volunteers, perform janitorial tasks, and maintain equipment and repairs. Working with limited supervision, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform sweeping, washing, and waxing of floors

• Conduct thorough cleaning and disinfecting of surfaces

• Remove garbage and empty recycling containers

• Monitor and maintain building equipment regularly

• Assist new staff and supervise volunteers

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 education with two years of experience

• Building Service Worker Diploma is an asset

• Current Occupational First Aid Level 1 Certificate required

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and handle stress
