Position: Mobile Custodial Roles Schools
Join Surrey Schools as a Caretaker on the Spare Board, providing janitorial services in a diverse school environment. This on-call role requires flexible workers ready to make a difference.

In this position, you will execute routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, floor care, and washroom sanitization across different school sites. Responding to emergencies and ensuring cleanliness and safety are key aspects of the role, which requires quick thinking and strong communication skills. Experience in custodial work is essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough cleaning of classrooms and common areas

• Manage waste disposal and recycling processes

• Attend to urgent situations like flooding or safety risks

• Secure assigned areas and check for safety hazards

• Assist with snow removal and external maintenance

Requirements:

• Must hold a Building Service Worker certification

• Prior custodial experience is preferred

• BC Driver’s License required for mobility

• Proficient in English, both written and oral

• Ability to handle diverse weather conditions
