Ice Maintenance Technician at Canlan Sports

Join Canlan Sports as an Ice Maintenance Technician and contribute to maintaining ice rinks across our recreational facilities. This role emphasizes ice maintenance, equipment operation, and facility upkeep.

As part of Canlan Sports, the Ice Maintenance Technician ensures the highest quality ice for all users. Your work includes operating the Ice Resurfacer, cleaning duties, and minor equipment maintenance. Successful candidates will have great communication skills and a mechanical aptitude, working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Ice Resurfacer efficiently and safely

• Perform ice surface maintenance and painting duties

• Carry out janitorial tasks and floor care procedures

• Maintain cleanliness of grounds and parking areas

• Conduct minor maintenance on facility equipment

Requirements:

• Completed high school education or equivalent

• Valid driver’s license preferred

• Previous experience with ice resurfacing equipment

• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends

• Trade or janitorial experience is an advantage
