Hygiene Specialist at Sunrise

Become a Hygiene Specialist at Sunrise, responsible for sanitation tasks that support food safety and hygiene in the plant. Duties include cleaning, waste management, and equipment maintenance.

In this important role, you will support Sunrise's commitment to health and safety by adhering to HACCP and GMP practices. You'll manage sanitation responsibilities such as cleaning processing areas and stock necessary supplies. Effective operation of sanitation equipment is a key requirement, ensuring the plant remains clean and compliant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow HACCP and GMP sanitation procedures

• Mop condensation and clean areas as needed

• Manage timely garbage disposal and stock supplies

• Maintain cleanliness in various plant areas

• Operate the lug wash machine as needed

Requirements:

• Completion of WHMIS training for sanitation roles

• Safe equipment operation and adherence to lock out procedures

• Forklift or power jack certification may be necessary

• Physical capability to handle heavy lifting tasks

• Ability to work in fluctuating temperature and humidity levels
