Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Enhance facility operations as a Facilities Maintenance Specialist with G&W Canada Corporation. This hands-on role focuses on preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure safe and reliable facility infrastructure.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this critical position involves addressing maintenance needs and supporting operational excellence. You will perform preventative maintenance across varied skills, including electrical, plumbing, and general building upkeep. Help drive continuous improvement and implement environmental compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections of facility systems and equipment

• Execute preventative maintenance to optimize asset functionality

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues

• Maintain accurate records of inspections and work orders

• Coordinate with contractors for effective maintenance solutions

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 3–5 years in facilities maintenance

• Experience with electrical and plumbing repairs

• Proven ability to operate forklifts in industrial settings

• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks
