Position: Mobile Caretaker Role Schools
Contribute to Surrey Schools' cleanliness as a Caretaker in the Service Operations Department.

Your role is crucial for maintaining safe and hygienic environments across schools.

We are hiring a Caretaker to support custodial operations at multiple Surrey schools. This position involves basic janitorial duties, responding promptly to emergent situations, and minor maintenance tasks. You will secure each work area and maintain high standards of cleanliness while interacting with authorized personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep and maintain hygiene in classrooms and hallways

• Clean and service washrooms and replenish supplies

• Handle minor repairs and cleaning equipment maintenance

• Respond to emergencies and safety hazards effectively

• Clear snow and ice to ensure safe access

Requirements:

• Must possess a Building Service Worker (BSW) certificate

• Valid BC Driver’s License required

• Ability to work in varying weather, especially winter

• Relevant experience in custodial services

• Successful applicants must consent to a Criminal Records Search
