Industrial Project Manager, Mechanical – UPTIME

We are looking for a self‑motivated, independent leader who can manage complex mechanical projects from inception to completion while driving customer satisfaction, safety and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management – Partner with leaders, executives and the sales team to drive project delivery; develop and maintain project budgets, schedules and performance forecasts; manage financial performance and report on cash flows; monitor compliance with safety plans and regulations.
  • Vendor Management & Acquisition of Materials – Source parts and materials, engage suppliers, consultants and general contractors, and ensure delivery of required equipment.
  • Consulting, Stakeholder Management & Communication – Liaise directly with customers to understand their needs, cultivate vendor relationships, communicate expectations throughout the project, and assist customers in finding innovative solutions that improve facilities and reduce costs.
  • Training & Development – Participate in the recruitment of new team members, assist with the training of new and existing employees, and support company training related to the job.
  • Other Duties – Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 7+ years of proven experience managing industrial projects valued between $50,000 – $2 million.
  • Demonstrated experience with CCDC contracts is required.
  • Mechanical engineering background or a trade‑specific qualification/ticket in metal fabrication or millwrighting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in quick thinking, problem‑solving skills and creative judgment.
Compensation & Benefits

Wage: $115,000 – $130,000 per year (salary dependent on market and qualifications).
