Branch Manager – HVAC Sector Surrey, BC Our industry leading client is a national wholesale distributor of equipment, parts, and products that service and support the residential, and commercial HVAC sectors. This high-profile HVAC distributor is looking to bring on an experienced
Branch Manager to lead their Surrey business unit to further support their growth and well-established customer base. We are searching for professionals who demonstrate initiative and business acumen;
and who enjoys the challenge of multitasking within a
customer-focused branch setting in a construction focused environment. With full P&L responsibility, you will provide leadership and strategic direction to operations, warehousing, sales, service, and administrative teams. The successful candidates will have previous branch leadership experience within the HVAC, or Mechanical sector.
THE ROLE:Build business/sales plans and oversee their implementation in order to capture business growth and consistently deliver budgeted financial resultsBuild and lead a strong customer focused team, including inside sales, counter sales and warehouse members, through recruiting, coaching, training and mentoringEnsure all operations are managed safely and in accordance with the company’s stated valuesDevelop and maintain a strong customer service focus to ensure customer satisfaction, retention and growth.Manage market budgets and forecasts and report on performance of key business metrics and KPIsIDEAL CANDIDATE:HVAC knowledge, and experience is highly preferredA minimum of five years of related business experience that required strong business and financial acumen, and effective decision-making and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to prospect contractor clientele by selling on value and partnership, rather then priceExperience with personnel management – including coaching, and training, to disciplinary actionDemonstrated track record of managing safe, independent branch operations in an independent decentralized settingExcellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a strong history of impeccable customer serviceAbility to identify and develop business opportunities and establish a positive company profile within the local business communityPrevious experience dealing in a wholesale distribution environmentThis opportunities is supported by a competitive base salary, quarterly
