Reporting to the Director, Construction, as the Project Director
you will oversee all aspects of construction projects that relate to large and complex construction, including but not limited to mid-rise and high-rise construction (or projects comparable in size/scope) to ensure projects are completed according to the prescribed budget, timeline and quality standards. You also act as the departmental liaison with other related parties.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Leading the project design, permitting, tendering, construction and homeowner relations.
• Collaborating with relevant parties to establishandmaintainprojectproformas,budgetsandschedules, and prepare proposed saleprices.
• Hiring, directing, supervising, developing and providing guidance to office and site team members while promoting a collaborative work environment.
• Overseeing and fostering positive relationships withdesignconsultants,trades,suppliers and other industry partners. Selecting and tendering contracts to trades and suppliers.
• Managing purchasing, estimating, contracts, change orders, problem resolutions and vendor management.
• Participating in the development of new projects, product lines, floor plans and designdetails.
• Developing and modifying models or specifications when necessary.

• Degree or Diploma in Construction/Project Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience in a managerial position, preferably in residential and/or commercial construction industry with multi‑unit, mid‑rise to high‑rise construction.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint) and project management software (Teamwork, MS Project, Autodesk Build, Procore, etc.)

• Creating trusting and successful working relationships.

• Cooperating with team members in a supportive and respectful manner.
• Staying current with technical job skills.
• Setting clear, measurable and achievable goals.

You primarily work in an office setting during regular business hours with travel to sites be required on a frequent basis. Overtime may occasionally be required.
