Lead heavy equipment service operations at Brandt through workflow planning, customer support, and effective technician team leadership. Travel to customer worksites as required.
The Service Manager oversees aftermarket support, including component diagnostics, repair, and replacement. This manager directs foremen, leadmen, service writers, and shop, field, and resident technicians. The work combines service delivery, financial oversight, safety compliance, and customer issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage service workflow, scheduling, quoted costs, and timely completion
- Oversee shop, field, and resident service execution
- Prepare quotes, manage work orders, billing, and documentation
- Coordinate parts and sales to minimize service downtime
- Monitor budgets, performance metrics, warranty claims, and WIP
- Five to seven years of progressive service, management, and business experience
- Knowledge of heavy equipment dealership operations
- Ability to organize work, prioritize, and achieve objectives
- Ability to lead teams and communicate professionally
- Ability to travel and work around heavy equipment
