Lead grocery operations at Save-On-Foods Clayton in Surrey, BC, using team coaching and customer service skills. Open availability and 40 hours weekly are required.
As Assistant Department Manager, Grocery, you will help lead team members while supporting Always Customer First service. You will coach, mentor, communicate key messages, and use community, competitive, and industry knowledge to grow the business.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with leading, coaching, mentoring, and resourcing team members
- Foster a positive Always Customer First service environment
- Support training, development, performance management, and recognition
- Communicate important messages with the grocery team
- Count the correct amount of stock
- Open availability for 40 hours per week
- Previous retail or customer service experience considered an asset
- Food Safe Certification
- Passion for great food and outstanding customer service
- Strong work ethic, integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to go extra mile
