Receiver and Inventory Coordinator
Overview
Receiver and Inventory Coordinator at Merit Kitchens Ltd. This role oversees the loading and unloading, inspection of incoming goods, and inputting goods into the ERP system.
Responsibilities- Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances.
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages, and reject damaged goods.
- Receive and sign for deliveries, enter PO numbers into ERP system.
- Compare purchase orders with invoices and packaging lists.
- Unpack, code, and route goods to appropriate storage areas.
- Maintain internal, manual, or computerized record-keeping systems.
- Operate a forklift to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
- Support the production team.
- A valid forklift ticket (experience is an asset).
- Computer skills (Excel experience is an asset).
- English comprehension skills for learning and safety.
- Able to lift 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, etc. for 8 hours a day.
- Time management, organization skills, and attention to detail.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced group environment.
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency.
- Experience in a related field is considered an asset.
