As IEM's newest Materials Planning Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in refining material flow strategies that align with our lean production system. Your expertise in Kanban, FIFO, and JIT methodologies will help streamline operations while enhancing collaboration across Production, Supply Chain, and Fabrication teams. This role is essential in the fast-paced environment of our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement lean material replenishment systems
• Develop point-of-use inventory solutions to minimize downtime
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on delivery processes
• Lead reviews and kaizen events to drive standardization
• Champion lean transformation efforts and train staff
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• 1–7 years of experience in manufacturing environments
• Understanding of lean principles and ERP systems
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Proven career ambition and potential for growth
