We are looking for a CNC Processing Operator at Russel Metals in Surrey, BC. This position focuses on crane operation and quality control, requiring shift work.
As a part of Russel Metals, you will support the processing operations through effective crane and hi-definition plasma machine operation. This role demands strong technical skills, including CNC programming and preventative maintenance while ensuring all production meets quality standards in a safety-sensitive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate crane and hi-definition plasma machinery
• Conduct set up and preventive maintenance
• Engage in CNC programming and process planning
• Interpret blueprints for quality inspections
• Ensure timely production meets set targets
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with manual beveling tools preferred
• Results-oriented and self-motivated individual
• Ability to package materials per customer specs
