As part of the team, you will manage the model shop and create high-precision equipment. This involves detailed analysis of user needs, material selection, and collaborative design adjustments.
Your role will ensure that all equipment meets industry standards and facilitates successful research outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce specialized equipment through high-precision machining
• Design and prepare equipment for internal and external clients
• Take and process high-quality photographs of testing processes
• Recommend new equipment and maintain machine shop inventory
• Provide training to staff regarding safe equipment use
Requirements:
• Machinist qualification or equivalent with four years of experience
• Understanding of machining methods, materials, and safety regulations
• Strong drafting and project management capabilities
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of MS Office applications
