Asphalt-Paving Screed Operator

Join our team as an Asphalt-Paving Screed Operator in Surrey, BC. This permanent, full-time position offers $36.60 per hour with an immediate start date.
We are looking for a candidate with 2 to 3 years of experience and a secondary school graduation certificate. In this role, you will interpret blueprints and specifications, operate equipment, and conduct pre-operational checks. Your attention to detail will ensure that equipment is clean, lubricated, and ready for operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints and specifications to plan operations

• Clean and lubricate equipment for smooth functioning

• Measure distance, volume, and weight as needed

• Operate computer-controlled equipment effectively

• Conduct pre-operational checks and secure attachments
Requirements:

• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

• Permanent or temporary resident with valid work permit

• Authorization to work in Canada

• Mechanical aptitude for minor repairs
