Press Brake Operator

We are currently seeking motivated individuals for press brake operators at our Surrey, BC location. This is a full‑time, permanent position.

Shift work is required =
Rotating Shifts.

• Ensure safe procedures are followed while performing job responsibilities
• Comply with workplace policies and procedures (operational and health and safety)
• Program, set up, and operate press brake while following safe work procedures and practices
• Read and interpret customer blueprints and lay out material for forming parts
• Form products within established tolerances and to customer specifications
• Complete in‑process quality checks to ensure accuracy is within shop tolerance
• Maintain an organized inventory and perform inventory counts as required
• Handle heavy material using overhead cranes, forklifts or other material handling equipment in a safe and responsible manner while loading/unloading the machine
• Perform daily preventative maintenance checks and report any unsafe processes or equipment
• Work with the Scheduling Department to ensure that daily production and on‑time requirements are met
• Any other tasks that may be assigned by management

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Must be willing to work rotating shifts
• Ability to read, write and understand English
• Ability to operate the overhead cranes and forklift
• Proficient in performing mathematical calculations with ability to read a tape measure and calipers
• Self‑motivated, results oriented

$36.00+ / hour
