Position: Burner Position at Radius Recycling
Join Radius Recycling as a Burner, responsible for precise scrap preparation using torching techniques while adhering to strict safety and environmental standards. Your expertise will ensure a safe and efficient workspace for all staff and clients.

The Burner reports to the Facilities & Operations Manager and must perform torch operations that comply with health, safety, and environmental protocols. You'll examine scrap materials, operate cutting equipment, and maintain fire control measures to enhance operational best practices. Your knowledge will directly contribute to maintaining safety and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare scrap materials using a burning torch

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

• Maintain a fire-safe working environment

• Operate and maintain cutting torches and associated equipment

• Communicate any operational or safety issues promptly

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED Certification

• Ability to wear a respirator as needed

• Previous torching experience is preferred

• Valid driver's license required

• Strong attendance and dependability history
