The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for implementing quality control systems designed to ensure our products meet applicable industry quality standards. Responsibilities include ensuring production and manufacturing processes meet quality standards, performing inspections of equipment and components at various stages of the production cycle, and maintaining ISO 9001 documentation as well as regulatory listings and markings.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Perform standard inspections independently within assigned product scope, including in-process and final inspection, and taking photos throughout the production cycle before shipment.
- Follow the inspection checklist and defined inspection points with a consistent method.
- Document findings clearly in Infor with objective language and required evidence.
- Generate non-conformance reports, gather evidence, and support RMA activities.
- Investigate and support resolution of customer issues and complaints relating to product quality or workmanship.
- Complete basic statistical tracking of recurring QC issues and contribute to process improvements that reduce defects and reworks.
- Verify conformance to engineering drawings, schematic, BOMs, and applicable CSA, UL and IEEE standards.
- Escalate build-to-print or doc mismatches immediately and stop the process when required.
- Build strong working rhythm with Production and Test on priorities and readiness.
- Provide technical feedback to production, engineering, and test teams to prevent quality escapes.
- Coordinate inspection activities with production teams to support workflow, schedule, and maximize product reliability.
- Apply regulatory and compliance labels according to CSA, UL and internal requirements.
- Perform other related duties as required by supervisor or manager.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across value streams
- Associate’s degree with background in Engineering, Business or Science-related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or production environments.
- Previous experience in electrical assembly, switch gear, panel fabrication, or industrial equipment is preferred.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, CSA, and UL standards and basic quality tools is desirable.

Shop/warehouse. Not climate controlled. Exposure to excessive heat and cold, wet/humid conditions, noise/vibration, hazards, dust and fumes.
