Mark Anthony Brewing Canada Ltd. is a craft brewery in the business of developing and selling international award-winning premium craft beer and high-quality distilled spirits brewed without compromise. Based in Surrey, British Columbia, MABCL was voted Canada’s Best Brewery of the Year in 2010 and 2012. Its Red Racer brand has become a cult icon among craft beer enthusiasts throughout North America.

In 2019, we opened a 40,000 sq. ft. storage facility with approximately 2,000 barrels of whiskey aging on site. We are proud to be a local Canadian brewery that continues to expand. In 2021, the company completed the installation of a new canning line designated for contract manufacturing.

About

The Role

Mark Anthony Brewing Canada Ltd. is hiring a Filler Operator to join our Surrey production team. The Filler Operator is primarily responsible for filling containers with the required number of products before packaging and shipping. This role operates filling machines and makes the necessary adjustments to ensure product consistency, quality, and efficiency. The Filler Operator is also responsible for supporting inventory and maintenance of filling process equipment.

The successful candidate must work well under pressure, be highly accurate, and be committed to safety, quality, and sanitation standards. This is a permanent full-time position that requires availability for all shifts
. Overtime may be required based on operational needs. The Filler Operator reports to the Operations Manager

What You’ll Do
  • Comply with all environmental regulations, including GMP and HACCP requirements.
  • Perform changeovers, minor adjustments, start-up, and shut down of equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment while observing all PPE standards and precautions.
  • Perform CIP on machinery to ensure cleanliness and support the highest quality product.
  • Maintain high standards of QA, QC, and sanitation for both machines and products.
  • Assist QA in preparing filling batch record documentation to facilitate ease of review for auditing purposes.
  • Inspect date codes, weights, labels, and bottles before packaging.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and adjust machines to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Support production efficiency, equipment reliability, and product quality.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support production goals.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Working Conditions
  • Must be able to lift and stack up to 20 kg repeatedly.
  • Must be able to pull hoses, bend, squat, climb stairs, and load empty kegs.
  • Must have the ability to continuously stand or walk.
  • Ability to lift 40 kg occasionally.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Must be available for shift work and overtime when required.
  • Must follow all safety, GMP, HACCP, quality, sanitation, and PPE requirements.
