Role Summary

Reporting to the Millwork Production Manager, the Production Worker – Carpenter performs skilled labour, material handling, tool work and assembly duties involved in the manufacture of custom retail fixtures. This is a full-time position at our facility in Campbell Heights, Surrey BC.

Shift will be 6:00AM to 2:30PM Monday to Friday.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare and setup machines and tooling for woodwork manufacturing.
  • Operate woodworking machines including saws, milling and sanding machines safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure that products meet project specifications, making adjustments as necessary. Perform general labour tasks, including clean‑up duties and materials handling.
  • Read and interpret basic drawings or production instructions.
  • Assemble products according to specifications.
  • Maintain company's quality, safety, and productivity standards.
  • Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs (23kg) as required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Qualifications & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Post secondary training or apprenticeship hours in carpentry.
  • 3-5 years of experience in woodworking.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (23kg).
  • Positive attitude and team-first mindset.
  • Ability to follow instructions, stay focused, and work under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with basic math and problem‑solving skills.
  • Good verbal communications skills.
