Powder Coater

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Powder Coater to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying powder coating to various metal components, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet company standards.

• Prepare metal parts for powder coating, including cleaning, chemical treatment, masking, sanding, and surface preparation.
• Operate powder coating equipment safely and efficiently to ensure consistent and even coating application.
• Load, unload, and move materials using cranes, forklifts, or other lifting equipment as required.
• Inspect coated products to verify quality, appearance, and compliance with specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on powder coating equipment and promptly report or troubleshoot operational issues.
• Assist with assembly, fabrication, or machining tasks as required to support production needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company safety procedures and lean manufacturing practices to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and quality objectives.

• Minimum 1 year of powder coating experience.
• Experience preparing metal surfaces for powder coating.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (23 kg) on a regular basis.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
