CNC Router & Production Process Technician – Surrey, BC, Pentco Industries

Pentco Industries is seeking a reliable and versatile CNC Router & Production Process Technician to support multiple manufacturing departments. This is a hands-on production role requiring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and support various operations throughout the facility.

The successful candidate will primarily support CNC Router operations while also assisting in Vinyl/Thermofoil production, sanding, material handling, and other manufacturing areas as required.

• Operate and set up CNC routers (nested-based production)
• Load and run existing programs
• Perform tool changes and basic machine setup adjustments
• Monitor quality and material yield
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and alarms
• Maintain tooling and work area organization

• Perform manual sanding and finishing of MDF doors and components
• Prepare routed parts for downstream manufacturing processes
• Inspect parts for quality and report defects
• Maintain production quality standards

• Assist in vinyl press operations
• Monitor press temperature, pressure, and cycle time
• Support the sanding and door preparation process
• Identify and report process defects
• Participate in material and tooling trials

• 2+ years of manufacturing or CNC router experience preferred
• Experience operating Biesse CNC routers in a woodworking environment is an asset
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
• Ability to manage tool offsets and machine coordinates
• Understanding of vacuum table setup and material hold-down
• Comfortable troubleshooting machine alarms and minor mechanical issues

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
