Position: IEM Manufacturing Engineer Role
Join IEM in Surrey, B.C. as a Manufacturing Engineer, where you will shape future electrical distribution systems. Focus on process optimization and lead Kaizen improvement projects in this engaging role.

In this position, you will utilize your expertise in medium to high-mix manufacturing to enhance process efficiency and safety. Working directly with the Senior Manager of Manufacturing Engineering, you will employ structured problem-solving techniques and lean manufacturing strategies. Your proactive approach will help train team members and establish best practices across production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize manufacturing processes for improved quality and safety

• Facilitate continuous improvement projects and Kaizen events

• Create and maintain standard work instructions

• Use data analysis to identify process defects

• Collaborate with teams to introduce new products

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering

• 3–7 years of manufacturing experience

• Proven skills in structured problem-solving tools

• Proficient in ERP/MES systems and Microsoft Office

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
