Supervisors, food and beverage processing NOC - demand

Overview

Are you an experienced Fish Processing Supervisor or Production Lead looking for a new opportunity? This position is based in British Columbia, Canada.

• Supervise, coordinate and create work schedules for production staff.
• Monitor production materials and supplies.
• Establish methods to organize and plan production for multiple orders and customers.
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures for continuous improvement in productivity and product quality.
• Provide training and coaching to production staff on job duties, equipment/tools usage, safety procedures and company policy.
• Provide recommendations on personnel actions such as hiring and promotions.
• Prepare production reports to ensure recoveries meet standards and review daily production reports to ensure production meets quality and targets as defined by the company.
• Identify, evaluate, control and prevent hazards at all stages of the production process, ensuring HACCP, GMP and QA standards for food regulations are met.
• Track and monitor to improve production efficiency.

• For this Fish Processing Supervisor/Production Lead position, at least 1 year of experience in fish processing or 3+ years in food manufacturing.
• English proficiency is essential.
