PositionSummary
IEM is currently seeking a Production Scheduler for our Surrey, B.C. office and will report into the Production Planning Manager.
This position requires 100% in-office presence in our Surrey office and does not offer remote work.
Key Responsibilities- Update production schedules in INFOR and maintain associated tracking tools for assigned production departments
- Provide support to the Production Planners and interface with production supervisors to identify and address scheduling gaps
- Prepare and distribute fabrication packages upon release from engineering and deliver to Mechanical Supervisors for execution per manufacturing schedules
- Generate and maintain weekly production reports as required for the Production Planning Manager
- Revise and reschedule orders to account for expedited orders, material shortages, and customer cancellations at the direction of the Production Planning Manager
- Prepare daily line efficiency reports and track the status of production on an ongoing basis
- The candidate will be expected to perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; co‑op and internship experience will be considered
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products; experience with an ERP system (INFOR/Syte Line preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to coordinate across production teams
- Demonstrated career ambition with a track record of growth and increasing responsibility; highly promo table with the potential to take on broader leadership roles within a fast‑paced, high‑growth organization
Compensation offered for this role will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
Compensation Range: $68,267 - $80,633 CAD
