Material Handler; Forklift Operator

Things don’t move without great people – and that’s where you come in. We’re looking for a Material Handler/ Forklift operator
to keep our powder coating and production teams supplied and ready to go. If you enjoy active work, operating equipment and being part of a team that makes things happen, we’d love to hear from you.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 6am – 2:30pm

• Starting wage: $23.75/hour
• Annual wage increases based on performance

• Safely and efficiently, load and put away material from the warehouse using hand and power operated handling equipment.
• Maintain the flow of materials being used in powder coating and production.
• Load and unload materials in accordance with scheduling needs.
• Ensure updated inventory levels by accurately recording inventory transactions
• Ensure items are restocked according to established procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
• Perform daily safety checklists and adhere comply with all safe work practices
• Operation of a variety of production equipment.
• At times, support warehouse operations loading, unloading materials and preparing items for shipment.
• Other duties as required

• A valid forklift certification
• Previous experience operating forklift, (sit down/stand up) in a warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 40 lbs
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions in English
• Basic math skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a positive team environment
