Job Details:

• Job Title: Painter
• Location: Onsite at various job sites within the lower mainland with a base at #44-14433 60 Ave, Surrey BC
• Job Type: Full time, permanent position with 30-40 hours per week
• Compensation: $36.60 per hour; overtime at 1.5x after 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week
• Benefits: As per BC employment standards

• Determine the quantity of material required.
• Make on‑site preparation by erecting scaffolding and ladders, covering surfaces with cloth or masking tape as necessary.
• Prepare and clean painting surface area by sanding, scraping, and removing old paint.
• Fill cracks, holes, and joints with appropriate material.
• Prepare paint and other material as per the desired color and texture.
• Apply paint or other material such as stain, primer, sealer, lacquer, and other finishes on surfaces.
• Follow appropriate guidelines for the spraying/painting process, utilizing all tools necessary, dependent on the type of material being used.
• Review finished work to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
• Ensure all safety measures are being met at the worksite.

• Education:
  
  Completion of High School.
• Experience:
  
  2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Language:
  English.
