IEM Materials Planning Specialist Role

Become a pivotal part of IEM as a Materials Planning Specialist in Surrey, B.C. Drive material management strategies that ensure optimal inventory and efficient production schedules.

This role requires planning and managing material requirements to support IEM’s dynamic production capabilities. You will analyze material needs against forecasts, generate work orders, and work with suppliers for timely delivery, all while maintaining accuracy in inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute material requirements planning (MRP)

• Analyze production plans to assess material needs

• Release purchase requisitions and monitor inventory

• Resolve material shortages and expedite critical deliveries

• Collaborate with teams on material specifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

• 3-5 years of supply chain experience necessary

• Strong ERP/MRP systems proficiency required

• Excellent analytical and Excel skills needed
