As a Machinist at LMI Machine Group, you'll join a friendly, motivated team producing high-quality parts for assembly. You'll ensure all processes are followed, producing parts within spec and on time. You'll work closely with your manager and co-workers to understand routine maintenance, part changeovers, and inspection.

The Machinist is responsible for ensuring all processes and procedures are followed to produce high quality parts. The duties performed must be within the time allotted to meet specifications. The Machinist is responsible for all aspects related to the delivery of products.
- Setups for new and previously manufactured components – all activities associated.
- Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Capable of providing input on design for manufacturability.
- Provide input on fixture design, program edits, tool reduction/improvements on all programs to improve cycle time and optimize throughput on equipment
