Lead manufacturing execution at IEM’s Surrey office using people leadership and production management skills. This is a fully onsite weekend schedule.
The Operations Supervisor is a first-line leader overseeing a defined value stream. You will manage Team Leads and Operators while maintaining safety, quality, delivery, efficiency, and flow. The position partners with the Operations Manager and coordinates with Planning, Materials, Quality, and Maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead daily production activities within the assigned work center
- Supervise, coach, and evaluate Team Leads and Operators
- Track takt time, schedules, output, defects, and downtime
- Lead Tier 2 daily management meetings
- Enforce safety, 5S, standard work, and operational policies
- Bachelor’s degree or five additional years of relevant experience
- Three years’ manufacturing or production experience
- One year in formal or informal leadership
- Experience with takt time and visual management
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
