Pack vinyl products accurately while supporting production efficiency at Westlake through sealed cartons, quality checks, and specification-based work. This position requires rotating shifts.
The Packer prepares vinyl products from extrusion or injection lines according to the specifications manual. You will recognize defective products, maintain piece counts, and prepare cartons for transportation. The work includes safety compliance, basic mathematics, communication, and air-operated equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Pack vinyl products according to the specifications manual
- Recognize, remove, or report defective products and equipment
- Prepare, seal, staple, and transport cartons for shipment
- Maintain piece counts and stack completed cartons for crating
- Keep the work area free of scrap and maintain safety
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating continental shifts
- Grade 12 or equivalent completed
- Good communication and basic mathematical skills
- Working knowledge of the packing process
- Comfort using air-operated equipment and lifting production
