Position Overview

BC is looking for a strategic, collaborative, and forward‑thinking Communications Insights Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, brings strong leadership skills, and is passionate about delivering meaningful, customer‑centric communications.

In this role, you’ll act as a trusted partner to teams across the organization, providing strategic communications approaches that support organizational goals.

In this role, you will:

Lead and develop communications strategies that advance business priorities and strengthen Fortis

BC’s corporate reputation.

You’ll develop clear, insight‑driven strategic communications briefs that support business objectives.

You’ll provide leadership and direction to ensure the strategies outlined in each brief are executed effectively.

You’ll guide teams in delivering innovative, unified communications solutions that meet the communications opportunity and support business objectives.

You’ll build strong relationships with internal business partners, offering guidance on communications opportunities and strategies, and responding proactively to emerging issues.

What it takes:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum four years of relevant experience (a combination of education and experience may be considered).

Proven ability to develop creative, strategic, and proactive communications and social marketing initiatives.

Proven ability to meet deadlines and handle high‑volume workloads.

In this role, you will have the option to participate in a flexible work program, enabling you to work from an approved flex location in British Columbia up to 85 days a year (equivalent to approximately two days a week), subject to business or operational needs.
