Digital Advertising Specialist
Job Overview
The Digital Advertising Specialist will provide daily support to KPU’s digital advertising and related initiatives. The incumbent will analyze ongoing marketing campaigns, activate and set up digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms, and formulate reports summarizing data to clearly communicate the effectiveness of initiatives. Responsibilities include collecting, tracking, analyzing, reporting, and communicating performance data from all media channels, driving cross-device traffic to the university website, campaign landing pages, and application page.

The role will implement, measure, and report on multiple data sources to build a unified view of the client journey across multiple touch‑points, enabling KPU to optimize student recruitment, conversion, retention, event promotion, and brand awareness.

Education and Experience

Diploma, preferably in Business, Marketing, Statistics or related subjects. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum one year of experience in a similar role or a combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Strong writing and communication skills. Ability to draft correspondence and reports independently.

Strong presentation skills and ability to verbally communicate and present data and strategic analysis.

Strong organizational skills.

Sense of urgency and passion with high expectations for quality.

Ability to develop and execute multiple priorities and approaches to meet objectives.

Expert computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access).

Proven experience using Google Analytics, Adwords and Webmaster tools.

Proven experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linked In, etc.) and their reporting tools.

Experience with student information systems (BANNER) is an asset.

Able to anticipate the needs and requirements of the marketing and recruitment departments.

Demonstrated proficiency in the use of many computer programs.

Entrepreneurial mindset and a roll‑up‑the‑sleeves work ethic – comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change.

Familiarity with digital campaign KPIs and metrics used for performance reporting.

Out‑of‑the‑box thinker and problem solver with a resourceful, can‑do attitude.

Passion for driving results and proven results‑orientation.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.

Strong desire to stay current in the fast‑evolving field of marketing analytics.

Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends on occasion.
