Position Overview
Our Marketing and Communications Team is seeking a Marketing and Communications Generalist to join our existing group of high-caliber individuals. As a collaborative team player, you take pride in completing tasks with quality and efficiency, whilst promoting a positive office atmosphere. You will also be supporting the Marketing and Communications Team in developing internal and external marketing and communications resources for Solaris MCI as well as all entities within our group.

The role will report directly to the Marketing and Communications Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities

Complete industry research to report on how we can improve our marketing methods

Evaluation and analysis of marketing strategies

Oversee creation of presentation and document templates; brief designers and ensure brand consistency.

Develop marketing and promotional materials (print and digital), including procurement

Coordinate social media management, content planning, content writing, reporting / metrics, etc.

Coordinate photo/video capture for campaigns and events; oversee editing and final approvals.

Manage website content and UX improvements with the web team; optimize for SEO and accessibility.

Coordinate production of print/digital collateral (e.g., business cards); manage vendor quotes, POs, and timelines.

Review Business Development presentations

Event support – career fairs, conferences, etc.

Develop content briefs and oversee production of graphics and short-form video; edit light assets as needed.

Ensure Corporate brand alignment

Oversee internal communications initiatives (i.e., newsletters, internal events)

External media partnerships management including event media coordination and press release distribution

Manage and support junior and co-op team members

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications/Business (or equivalent experience)

2+ years in marketing/communications with at least 1 year end-to-end campaign ownership

Proficiency in GA4 and campaign reporting; strong writing/editing skill

Social media management (planning, community responses, reviews/testimonials)

PR/media coordination (press releases, media lists, partner liaisonCMS/SEO familiarity; accessibility awareness (WCAG)

Design tools are an asset

Compensation
The salary for this role is based on an average of 37.5 hours a week. The estimated range is between $71,400- $75,400 annually, depending on skills and experience.
