In this role, you will report to the Director of Communications and shape effective communication plans across various functions. Bring your expertise in media relations, crisis communication, and team development to elevate the Surrey Schools brand. Key Responsibilities:
• Execute comprehensive communications strategies and achieve objectives
• Guide and mentor the Communications team for high performance
• Cultivate a unified voice for Surrey Schools across channels
• Lead media relations and support Executive team in issues management
• Develop internal communications strategies to boost engagement
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in communications or related field
• 10-15 years of progressive strategic communications experience
• Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities
• Public sector experience is preferred
• Proven crisis communications and media relations skills
