The ideal candidate will have post-graduate education in Nephrology or be keen to pursue it through Fraser Health's internal program while working under supervision for professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement care for patients undergoing dialysis
• Advocate for patient needs in care meetings
• Educate clients on their health and care procedures
• Administer prescribed medications per policy
• Keep meticulous records of patient care
Requirements:
• Certification from a recognized Practical Nursing program
• Current BCCNM registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Mandatory CPR Level C and First Aid certifications
• One year of recent related nursing experience
• Excellent observational and communication skills
Utilize your LPN skills to provide outstanding care in the Hemodialysis unit at Fraser Health.
