Resident Care Director Assistant

Reporting directly to the Director of Care, this role primarily focuses on quality assurance in nursing practices. You will ensure that staff adheres to care standards through audits and direct supervision. Responsibilities also encompass engaging families and physicians, participating in staffing decisions, and promoting safety measures within the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee resident care and nursing staff performance
• Conduct audits for continuous quality improvement
• Communicate effectively with families for care updates
• Hire and evaluate clinical staff on performance
• Enforce compliance with health regulations and care standards
Requirements:
• Current BCCNM registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum three years in management or administration
• Experience in geriatrics or relevant fields
• Strong interpersonal, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
• Familiarity with electronic health environments
