Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse Role
Join Fraser Health as a Casual Registered Nurse for the Surgical Services team at the Jim Pattison Outpatient Care & Surgery Centre in Surrey, B.C. Provide high-quality nursing care in a dynamic Operating Room environment.
Your key role as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room involves assessing and caring for patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. You will implement nursing interventions, monitor patient conditions, and foster a safe surgical environment. This position focuses on patient advocacy and involvement in quality care initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough nursing assessments based on established procedures

• Coordinate care for patients in the Operating Room

• Execute scrubbing duties during surgical procedures

• Prepare and maintain necessary surgical supplies

• Participate in the mentorship of new nursing staff
Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Registration with BCCNM as a practicing Registered Nurse

• Minimum one year of relevant OR experience required

• Skills in emergency intervention and patient assessment

• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams
