Registered Nurse Position BC

Take on the role of Registered Nurse at Chartwell Crescent Gardens Retirement Community in Surrey, BC. This nursing position allows you to deliver critical care to residents while ensuring their emotional and physical needs are met.
The full-time role involves planning and executing individualized nursing care in collaboration with healthcare teams. You will oversee care assistants, consult with health professionals, and engage residents actively in their care. Participate in staff training and maintain necessary supplies for the nursing department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and implement personalized care strategies

• Maintain communication with residents’ families

• Guide discharge planning and resident transfers

• Support residents through therapeutic activities

• Administer medications, including injections and narcotics
Requirements:

• Must hold an active RN certificate in BC

• Experience in geriatric and rehabilitation nursing

• Knowledge of nursing laws and policies

• Excellent skills in care assessment and planning

• Ability to oversee nursing staff training
