Job Overview
Registered Nurses and/or Licensed Practical Nurses are needed to provide 1:1 respite care for a toddler in Surrey, BC. Care will be delivered in the home environment, focusing on overnight support, non-invasive ventilation management, nasal/oral suctioning, GJ feeding, and medication administration.
Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 respite care in the home environment
- Overnight support for a toddler requiring non-invasive ventilation
- Perform nasal and oral suctioning as needed
- Administer GJ feeding
- Administer medications
- Work independently to manage complex care needs
- Current "practicing" registration with BCCNM
- Valid CPR C / BLS certification or better
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
- Licensed or Registered Nurse (qualified to provide the above responsibilities)
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $32.84 - $59.51 per hour (based on BCNU Wage Grid)
