Your role involves delivering expert nursing to infants and their families according to BCCNM standards. With hands-on assessments and evaluations, you'll collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal treatment based on best practices. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform thorough assessments and document findings accurately
• Provide direct care and support to newborns in the NICU
• Participate in deliveries and application of neonatal resuscitation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal care
• Maintain comprehensive records and follow hospital guidelines
Requirements:
• Registration as a Registered Nurse with BCCNM
• One year of NICU experience is preferred
• Completion of a specialized Neonatal Nursing Program
• Valid Basic Rescuer (Level
C) and NRP certifications
• Strong organizational skills in a dynamic work setting
