Part Time NICU Registered Nurse at Fraser Health

This relief position is available until May 2027 and demands a dedicated registered nursing professional with neonatal experience. Candidates will perform assessments, provide nursing care, and communicate effectively within an interdisciplinary team. Commitment to family-centered practices is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments to identify risk factors in newborns

• Document nursing observations and patient care accurately

• Support during high-risk deliveries and NRP protocols

• Modify care approaches based on evolving needs

• Assist with referrals to additional support services
Requirements:

• Current practising registration with BCCNM

• One year of recent experience in a neonatal setting

• Completion of postbasic Neonatal Nursing Program

• Valid Basic Rescuer (Level

C) and NRP certifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
