Fraser Health is inviting applications for a Casual Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse position at Melville Hospice. Ideal candidates will bring their expertise in nursing and hospice care to assess, plan, and implement tailored care plans while evaluating their effectiveness. You will work closely within a multidisciplinary team to ensure patients’ holistic needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate individual patient nursing plans

• Communicate with health professionals on patient care updates

• Document patient information accurately and responsibly

• Promote and protect patient rights and dignity

• Engage in quality improvement activities and staff training
Requirements:

• Completion of approved nursing training

• 2 years experience in medical nursing, including hospice

• Active RN/RPN registration with BCCNM

• Familiarity with hospice care practices

• Strong teamwork and independent working skills
