As a Hospice RN at Gentiva Hospice, you will lead care for patients and their families, ensuring a comforting and informed hospice experience. You will deliver skilled nursing care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and provide essential emotional support. Critical thinking and communication skills are important for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guide patients and families through hospice processes
• Deliver and document skilled nursing care in various settings
• Perform patient assessments and adjust care plans
• Communicate critical updates to the care team
• Teach caregivers safe and confident care methods
Requirements:
• Current RN license applicable to the state
• 1+ years of relevant nursing experience
• Compassionate, empathetic approach to nursing
• Proficient communication in sensitive cases
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
